From the Caribbean to the Chao Phraya: “The Soul of Caribbean Journeys” Brings Island Flavours to Trader Vic’s Bangkok
The vibrant spirit of the Caribbean is set to arrive on the banks of the Chao Phraya River as Trader Vic’s Bangkok at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort presents “The Soul of Caribbean Journeys”, an exclusive culinary showcase led by Chef Olivier Hilton from the Turks & Caicos Islands.
From 10 – 14 June 2026, guests are invited to discover the flavours, traditions, and warmth of Caribbean hospitality through three distinctive experiences, each inspired by the rich cultural heritage and tropical charm of the islands.
At the heart of the event is Chef Olivier Hilton, Executive Chef of Alexandra Resort, one of the leading luxury resorts in the Turks & Caicos Islands. With more than 22 years of experience across the Caribbean, Europe, and the Middle East, Chef Olivier has earned recognition for his refined approach to Caribbean cuisine, combining authentic island flavours with contemporary culinary techniques.
The journey begins on 10 June with “The Soul of Caribbean Cooking”, an intimate hands-on masterclass where guests can learn the art of Caribbean cooking directly from Chef Olivier. Designed for food enthusiasts and curious home cooks alike, the experience offers a rare opportunity to explore the ingredients, techniques, and stories behind some of the region’s most beloved dishes. The class is priced at THB 1,699++ per person.
From 10 – 13 June, the celebration continues with “Rasta Soul Meets Tiki”, a special dinner experience that captures the essence of island dining. Guests can indulge in a thoughtfully curated five-course menu priced at THB 1,799++ per person, including Trader Vic’s iconic Mai Tai cocktail. A selection of Caribbean-inspired à la carte dishes will also be available, complemented by live Latino music that brings an energetic yet relaxed island atmosphere to the evening.
The culinary journey reaches its finale on 14 June with “Casa Latina Sunday Brunch”, a vibrant one-day collaboration featuring some of Bangkok’s most celebrated Latino chefs. Joining Chef Olivier are Chef Andre from Nomada Bangkok, Chef Beto from La Lupita Bangkok, Chef Carlos from SEEN Bangkok, Chef Manuel from Anantara Riverside Bangkok, and Chef Brayang from Trader Vic’s Bangkok.
Together, they will present an exciting selection of signature creations, flame-grilled specialties, and exclusive dishes crafted for the occasion, accompanied by live entertainment and family-friendly activities. Guests can choose from brunch packages starting at THB 2,800++ per person, while children aged 5–11 years dine complimentary when accompanied by a paying adult.
