Thailand Privilege Announces the Appointment of First Lieutenant Dr. Tanapote Ekkayokkaya as Vice President

Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited (TPC), World’s Premier Residency Program and Privileged Services Providers for Exclusive Individuals – a state-owned enterprise under the supervision of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, is pleased to announce the appointment of First Lieutenant Dr. Tanapote Ekkayokkaya to the position of Vice President, effective 2nd June 2026. In this capacity, he will oversee Sales and Distribution Management, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Digital and Information Management, as well as Policy and Risk Management. 

First Lieutenant Dr. Tanapote‘s key responsibilities include business planning, sales and marketing development through expanding distribution channels and network, developing business and marketing strategies, enhancing brand and product awareness, as well as advancing digital information technology and strengthening risk management and policy frameworks. 

Prior to joining TPC, First Lieutenant Dr. Tanapote accumulated over 30 years of distinguished experiences taking leadership roles across government agencies, private sectors and state enterprises, including the Department of Intellectual Property and the Department of Trade Negotiations at the Ministry of Commerce, Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) and the Thai Media Fund. He has also served as an Advisor to the Board of Directors of the SME Development Bank of Thailand. In addition, First Lieutenant Dr. Tanapote brings substantial international experience having served as Minister Counsellor for Commercial Affairs at the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, Belgium, where he was responsible for overseeing Thailand’s trade policy with the European Union.

First Lieutenant Dr. Tanapote holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom, as a recipient of the Thai Government Scholarship from the Office of the Civil Service Commission, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Commercial Law from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Faculty of Law, Ramkhamhaeng University, Thailand.
