The Spirit Of Summer With Aman 2026
With summer drawing closer, Aman’s sanctuaries are preparing to embrace the season through a collection of experiences, designed to showcase the very best of their destinations. From elemental wellness in the Utah desert to island adventures in Indonesia, alpine exploration in the Dolomites and a long-awaited reopening in Montenegro, each property offers its own, unique expression of summer, imbued with Aman’s wayfinding spirit.
Amangiri, Utah, America
Set within the vast, sculptural landscapes of Canyon Country, Amangiri and its satellite location, Camp Sakira, are sanctuaries of stillness. At the heart of the resort, a 25,000-square-foot spa is seamlessly integrated into the desert terrain, offering a profound connection to the elements.
In the summer months, water wellness takes centre stage, whether in Amangiri’s focal swimming pool, the private plunge pools of Camp Sarika’s tented pavilions or the Spa’s Water Pavilion. Here, a steam room, sauna, cold plunge and heated step pool offer a thermal journey, complemented by a serene Flotation Pavilion. To make the most of these facilities, a range of signature treatments harness the restorative power of water, spanning Aqua Shiatsu, performed while floating in a warm pool, Floating Guided Meditation to induce deep calm through gentle movement, and Cryo & Thermal Therapy, a contrast experience that revitalises body and mind.
Guests are also invited to explore a series of Healing Desert Rituals, making the most of long, sun-lit days and endless blue skies. Guided mindfulness walks, butte-top yoga and outdoor elemental therapies, such as mindfulness walks, draw on the grounding energy of the landscape.
Aman Sveti Stefan, Montenegro
One of Europe’s last corners of untouched beauty, Montenegro is a land of rugged mountains, ancient forests and pristine lakes, along with a sun-drenched coastline of quiet coves and turquoise waters. This Spring, Aman Sveti Stefan in Montenegro will reopen with Villa Miločer, the mainland retreat, welcoming guests from 22 May 2026, together with the adjacent Aman Spa, Queen’s Beach and King’s Beach, followed by the reopening of the storied island of Sveti Stefan on 1 July 2026.
Set peacefully on Montenegro’s Adriatic shore, southwest of the capital city, Podgorica, Aman Sveti Stefan lies just a short drive from the ancient town of Budva and the beautiful Bay of Kotor, offering access to the region’s UNESCO-protected heritage sites, authentic cultural experiences and all-encompassing adventures within one of Europe’s most naturally spectacular settings.
Providing the intuitive service and serene seclusion for which Aman is renowned, the resort offers guests the opportunity to experience both the privacy of Villa Miločer and the unique atmosphere of the fortified island village of Sveti Stefan. The 19th-century Villa Miločer, once the summer residence of Queen Marija Karađorđević, is home to eight elegant suites, tranquil living spaces and a wisteria-shaded dining terrace by the shore, while the island’s restored cottages and suites preserve the legacy of the original village with exceptional sea views. Guests may also enjoy the expansive Aman Spa, three beaches including the fully private Queen’s Beach, and a range of dining venues including Arva, Piazza and the Cliff Bar. Beyond the resort, Budva Old Town, Kotor and Lake Skadar provide rich opportunities to explore Montenegro’s cultural heritage and wild natural beauty.
Amanzoe, Greece
On a private Peloponnese peninsula overlooking the Aegean coast, Amanzoe stands as a modern-day Acropolis. With the arrival of the new season, a summer haze casts its golden hue, highlighting the resort’s palatial grandeur. Rooted in the teachings of Hippocrates, the resort’s light-filled spa embraces a holistic philosophy, integrating movement, nutrition and natural therapies. During the height of summer, a collection of new treatments focuses on restoration and renewal under the Mediterranean sun.
While the 45-minute After Sun Recovery Treatment offers deep hydration and soothing care for sun-exposed skin with cooling aloe vera, the 75-minute Dawn of Stillness invites guests to begin the day with sunrise yoga followed by a serene floating meditation and sound healing experience. Combining gentle movement, water and vibration this is a calming ritual to start the day.
For a more immersive journey, the 120-minute Amanzoe Purification Hammam Ritual draws on ancient Greek traditions to restore seasonal balance. It begins with a warm aromatic mist, infused with wild mountain tea, sage and fresh bay leaves and olive leaf black soap to soften and prepare the skin. Next, a traditional exfoliation uses a fine olive and grapeseed scrub, honouring the sacred plants of the Peloponnese. A nourishing massage hydrates the skin, and a cool lavender compress placed over the forehead ends the treatment with a symbolic gesture of renewal.
Aman Rosa Alpina, Italy
At the heart of the majestic UNESCO-protected Dolomites, Aman Rosa Alpina rests peacefully in the charming village of San Cassiano and approaches its one-year anniversary this July. As summer descends on its dramatic peaks, alpine meadows bloom, transforming the once snow-covered landscape. In the warmer months, the resort becomes a cooler gateway to outdoor adventure in this verdant mountain embrace. For the resort’s first full summer season, Aman Rosa Alpina offers guided hikes, cycling routes and paragliding excursions to reveal panoramic vistas, while sunrise treks offer unforgettable views as first light crowns the peaks.
Signature experiences include the Dolomites Escape: Rifugio Retreat, blending scenic trails on a guided hike with an authentic mountain lunch at a traditional rifugio. For the adventurous, the Dolomites Escape – Via Ferrata is an exhilarating ascent across rugged rock faces, combining adrenaline, skill and breathtaking views. Drawing on deep local knowledge, the team can also curate bespoke itineraries, from helicopter tours to private culinary journeys.
This summer, Aman Rosa Alpina invites the most adventurous of guests to take on one of the region’s most exhilarating challenges, The 4 Peaks Alta Badia. Over the course of one day, the challenge will see guests conquer four iconic summits — Sas dla Crusc, Piza dales Diesc, Lavarela and Conturines — ascending 2,000 metres across marked trails, via ferrata routes and exposed, ridgelines. Spread across four nights, the experience with Aman Rosa Alpina begins with a welcome cocktail and guide briefing, followed by a practice day in the mountains and a dedicated recovery day before the main summit push. Throughout, the Aman Spa provides welcome respite with 60-minute Sport Recovery treatments after each day on the peaks, while evening dinners at The Grill restore body and spirit ahead of the next ascent.
Aman Venice, Italy
Housed in a 16th-century palazzo on the Grand Canal, Aman Venice offers a storied retreat in the heart of the city, complete with one of Venice’s only canal-side gardens. In the summer months, life flows naturally from indoors, out, with the private garden becoming a stage for leisurely breakfasts, elegant lunches and aperitivo at dusk. As gondoliers glide past and light softens across the water, the hotel’s new fluted timber bar reopens for the season, serving signature cocktails inspired by the hotel’s historic spaces, such as the Davozione, with tequila, strawberry sherry and apricot vinegar, paying homage to Tiepolo’s romantic frescos that adorn the palazzo.
Beyond the hotel, curated experiences invite guests to discover the Venetian lagoon with longer days offering more time for exploration. Curated island-hopping journeys explore Murano’s glassmaking heritage, the fishing traditions of Burano and the tranquil beauty of Torcello, one of the lagoon’s first populated islands, combined with exceptional dining experiences along the way.
Alternatively, for those seeking quieter corners to explore, the Hidden Gardens tour takes guests to a host of secret green spaces behind Venice’s historic façades, offering a glimpse into the city’s more intimate side, away from the crowds – from powder-pink rose gardens to manicured hedgerows at the childhood home of Casanova.
Guests can also extend their Italian summer sojourn with Journey Across Italy, seamlessly connecting city and mountain experiences with stays at both Aman Venice and Aman Rosa Alpina in the Dolomites.
Amanwana, Indonesia
On the pristine shores of Moyo Island, Amanwana offers an otherworldly island escape within a protected National Park, where jungle meets the ocean in one of Earth’s remotest environments. Here, the summer months are defined by exploration and connection with nature, inviting guests to snorkel and dive vibrant coral reefs, swim alongside whale sharks in the Flores Sea and trek through dense forest to discover hidden waterfalls. Amanwana has recently enhanced its signature adventures with the introduction of a new dedicated boat for whale shark excursions. Accompanied by an experienced guide, guests encounter these magnificent creatures first-hand and gain insight into their behaviour and natural habitat.
Back on the shoreline, a new open air Yoga Pavilion called Yoga Shala has recently been built overlooking Amanwana Bay, where Frendy Agung Dewanta, a newly appointed resident practitioner, hosts daily meditation and breathing exercises and teaches spiritual practices. Also new for the season, a Floating Sound Bath experience at Diana Waterfall invites guests to embark on a deeply restorative wellness journey, where the resonant tones of singing bowls blend with the natural rhythm of cascading water.
Amankora, Bhutan
Comprising a collection of lodges across the Himalayan Kingdom, Amankora offers a unique opportunity to explore Bhutan’s lesser-known regions through a seamless journey. For summer 2026, Thimphu, Gangtey and Bumthang Lodges invite deeper cultural immersion and exploration of its valleys and landscapes, awash with lush green hues.
Set within a tranquil pine forest above the capital, Thimphu Lodge balances Aman peace and seclusion with access to Bhutan’s urban cultural heart. From here, guests can explore vibrant markets, monasteries and landmarks such as the Buddha Dordenma Monument, alongside visits to traditional paper factories and textile museums, offering insight into Bhutan’s living heritage.
Further east, overlooking the Phobjikha Valley, Gangtey Lodge offers a window into rural Bhutan. Surrounded by sweeping landscapes, guests can embark on some of the country’s most spectacular hikes, including the renowned Rhododendron trail in full summer bloom, or experience local traditions through monastery visits and engaging cultural activities such as making meal offerings to local monks. Back at the lodge, a traditional stone potato shed becomes the setting for a private dining experience, where the simplicity of the land is reflected in firelight and a menu drawn from the valley.
The journey continues in Bhutan’s spiritual capital, Bumthang, a valley rich in ancient temples and sacred sites dating back to the 6th century. The lodge, located moments from Wangduechhoeling Palace, serves as a gateway to centuries-old traditions, from butter lamp offerings to guided explorations of the valley’s monasteries and hiking trails.
