“STAND FOR LOVE” – W Hotels Celebrates Pride Month In Thailand

W Bangkok and W Koh Samui reveal details of a full month of Stand for Love activations this June, from signature Margarita elixirs and fashion shows to inspiring conversations

At W Bangkok, the striking hotel that seamlessly blends modernity and heritage in the heart of the Thai capital, guests and local residents can step inside Art Installations throughout Pride Month, crafted by acclaimed interior designer Bill Bensley and upcycling pioneer Nymm Kaewtrakarn. On June 6, W Bangkok invites diners to experience a fabulous special edition of its popular weekend feast at The Kitchen Table, featuring three hours of creative gastronomy, social drinks packages, iconic drag queen performances and live DJ sets. 

On June 13, guests can gather for a glamorous Fashion Show with Eric Raisina, the world-renowned designer and textile artist. Then on June 20, W Lounge will set the stage for a creative cocktail evening where guest bartenders from the LGBTQIA+ community will shake up the mixology scene. Finally on June 28, lifestyle and wellness influencer Meepik will lead the Stand for Love Run an energizing activity that encourages all ages to move with purpose while fostering friendship and a sense of belonging.

W Koh Samui, the luxury lifestyle resort with private pool villas, idyllic infinity pools and endless vistas, invites couples and friends to come together and Elixirs throughout June, with a vibrant cocktail menu and upbeat entertainment. Also running from June 1-30, Stand for Love Beach will transform the resort’s golden shore into a living canvas of organic artworks and floral sculptures. 

Pride Month will turn up the volume on June 13 with a compelling evening of conversation, followed by an uplifting outdoor party. As the sun sets, the Stand for Love will provide an open space to discuss key topics such as identity and individuality, and an intimate chat with LGBTQIA+ couple Kelio & Ryann will help guests to better understand the issues still facing this community. Accompanied with drinks and light bites, this is an evening where stories are shared, and every voice is heard. The DJs will then hit the decks for a celebration of music and unity at Sip Beach. 

On 11 June, an Innerdance Workshop will awaken the senses with a blend of music, sound frequencies, and energy work, as Caro guides guests into an expanded state of emotional awareness and release.
