The experience begins at a bespoke pop-up Caviar & Oyster Shucking Bar, created exclusively for this occasion and set within the lagoon. Couples step into chest-deep water, surrounded by shimmering fish as flutes of Champagne and creative oyster shooters will be served, while a live saxophonist plays romantic tunes. Elegant, interactive and highly Instagrammable, this sets the mood for an evening filled with surprises.
The Fisherman’s Arrival brings the maritime heritage of the Maldives to life at the resort’s Arrival Pavilion, where a local fisherman presents the day’s ocean-fresh catch, including reef fish and lobster. Expertly prepared and accompanied with wine, this moment unfold to the sounds of a live duo band, creating an immersive and celebratory welcome for lovers of seafood.. The organic essence of the Maldives flourishes at the Chef’s Herb Garden, where a dedicated horticulturist presents the homegrown produce that thrives within this island sanctuary. Amid this enchanting environment, loved ones can share a special seafood menu that showcases reef lobster, displayed on ice before being gentlypoached in butter with local herbs, paired with crisp white wine. Pure refreshment is then served with the Sorbet Interlude – a vodka-infused palate cleanser and fruit sorbet, served at the Palms Bar and accompanied with ambient pipe music.
The Maldives is celebratedfor its pristine beaches, and the crescendo of the Culinary Safari unfolds at a private table for two on the powder-soft sands. By the Palms Beach, private dining reaches new levels of exclusivity as succulent lamb loin and a sensational tomahawk steak are expertly grilled and carved at the tableside.
