Let’s check out what this amazing city has to offer!

Danang The Jewel of Central Vietnam

1. Bà Nà Hills

Surrounded by mysterious mountain range, the famous Bà Nà Hills is arguably the best resort in Vietnam. Visitors across the globe will be met with colourful splashes of spectacles and music, including a winery, restaurant, flower garden, and endless activities, as well as incredible architecture and design.

Getting there means you have to ride the longest cable car in the world, and it is a flying journey over lush green valleys and cooling mist below to the dreamy castle at the end of the line. The European castle was built over a century ago and it provides the perfect setting for a fun paradise full of parades and laughter.

“Enter the mysterious world of Bà Nà Hills and experience the creative mix of European renaissance and the modern world.“

2. My Khe Beach

White pristine beach stretches alongside clear blue sea and surrounded by green mountains and bright sky. The scenery of My Khe Beach is a lively scene dotted with colourful fishing boats along the skyline, making it the summer paradise and one of Danang’s most popular destinations for locals and tourists alike.

If outdoor activities excite you, My Khe Beach offers plenty of options from hiking, snorkeling, diving, and jetskiing, plus many spots to take photos, including a traditional port.

“Enjoy sunbathing and swimming at My Khe Beach and experience a relaxing Southeast Asian summer paradise.”

3. Marble Mountains

Take photos of spectacular peaks majestically standing over Danang. These marble mountains are home to peaceful villages, mysterious caves, and renowned temples in Vietnam.

Catch the elevator to the top of the peak and experience its wonderful atmosphere and scenery. Venture through the caves and temples hidden in the valley like the Linh Nham cave with its spectacular natural light feature.

“Explore natural tunnels and caves, and take the path of the faithful in Danang.”

Where To Eat

1. La Maison 1888 Da Nang

As the signature restaurant of InterContinental Danang, La Maison 1888 offers more than just exquisite French cuisine – it’s an avant-garde fine dining experience! The restaurant captures the essence of haute French fine dining with refined classic dishes served in a distinguish setting that tells the story of a colonial French-Eurasian family through architecture and interior design. In the kitchen, Michelin-starred Chef Pierre Gagnaire creates an extensive menu of French fusion cuisine in his inimitable style. Highly recommended menus are sea bass carpaccio, lobster tail, suckling pig with bigarade sauce, salted mackerel and poached octopus.

2. Nén Restaurant

The name “Nén” derives from the name of a local ingredient distinctively used in Danang and surrounding areas. With that, Nén focuses on highlighting local ingredients in both reinvented and new Vietnamese dishes that push the boundaries of traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Most herbs, fruits, and flowers, as well as basic ingredients like fish sauce, pickles, chili sauce, and cooking liquor, used here are grown right on the rooftop garden of the restaurant. Expect fresh dishes with bold, yet delicate flavours like Vietnamese crab bisque, Quail with wild mountain spices, and Soft-shelled crab in tamarind sauce beautifully presented in sophisticated modern presentation.

3. Waterfront Danang Restaurant & Bar

Waterfront Danang is separated into 2 zones – the upstairs restaurant and downstairs bar. Fresh modern interior with Vietnamese accent provides a comfortable setting for an elevated casual dining overlooking Han River waterfront scenery. The menus here caters to everyone’s taste, from Vietnamese, Thai, and Japanese, to European and American such as Pumpkin ravioli, Lobster Tortellini with fermented black bean sauce, Vietnamese pork belly, and Thai green curry. The bar downstairs offers an extensive drink list, including a usual array of malt whiskies, ciders and tequilas, vodkas, rums, and cocktails, as well as imported wines and a huge selection of local and imported beers.
