Vivaldi PR joins “Latin Link 2026” To Explore Business Opportunities for Thai Enterprises in the Latin America Market

Invited by Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vivaldi PR joined a delegation to Peru and Brazil to gain market insights and build business and media relationships to support Thai companies exploring growth in Latin America.

Vivaldi PR, a Thailand-based public relations and strategic communications consultancy with more than 20 years of experience, has strengthened its international business and communications connections through its participation in Latin Link 2026, organised by the Department of American and South Pacific Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, from 21 September to 2 October 2026.

Formally invited to join the Thai business delegation to Peru and Brazil, Vivaldi was represented by Mr. Burin Nakcharoen, Chairman of Vivaldi Group of Companies, who participated in business meetings, industry visits and networking activities to explore opportunities for trade, investment and cross-border collaboration.

According to the World Bank, Latin America and the Caribbean represent a combined economy of approximately US$7.4 trillion in 2025, with Brazil accounting for approximately US$2.28 trillion and Peru US$335 billion.

Mr Burin sees significant opportunities in the region for Thai businesses seeking to diversify into new international markets, particularly in the automotive and agricultural sectors.

“Latin America is a vast market with enormous potential, yet it remains relatively unexplored by many Thai businesses. Thailand has strong capabilities in food processing, automotive parts, agricultural technology and manufacturing, which complement Latin America’s abundant natural resources and growing consumer markets,” said Mr. Burin.

“Beyond exporting finished products, Thai companies could explore joint ventures, technology partnerships and local production. For Thai SMEs and established manufacturers alike, success will depend on understanding local markets and regulations, identifying the right partners and building confidence to expand beyond familiar territories.”

In Peru, the delegation attended Expoalimentaria 2026 in Lima, visited the strategic Port of Chancay, and engaged with business organisations including ProInversión, Peru’s investment promotion agency.

In Brazil, the programme included business networking with Invest São Paulo (InvestSP) and the Commercial Association of São Paulo (ACSP), as well as a visit to CTC – Sugarcane Technology Center to learn about innovation in agricultural processing and ethanol technology.

These meetings and industry  engagements provided valuable insights into local market conditions, trade connectivity, investment opportunities and potential partnerships between Thai and Latin American businesses.
