Thailand Privilege Sets Sights on Phuket at TIBS 2026 Attracting Global HNWIs for Long-Term Stays in Thailand

Thailand Privilege Card Co. Ltd. (TPC), operator of the Thailand Privilege membership program under the supervision of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), reinforces Thailand’s potential as a true World Class Destination by participating in Southeast Asia’s largest yacht and superyacht exhibition the Thailand International Boat Show 2026 (TIBS). The event will take place from 15-18 January 2026 at Phuket Yacht Haven Marina, Phuket.

Currently, Thailand is advancing its strategic direction to become a World Class Destination, serving as a premier hub for safety, high quality, excellent service, and cultural diversity country. Phuket stands as a key pillar in this vision, renowned globally as a top tourism city with strong geography, stunning seas and mountains, and infrastructure designed to attract business leaders and investors from around the globe. Key developments include the new phase of Phuket Airport expansion featuring a new Private Jet Terminal capable of accommodating large aircraft to serve Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs), increased transportation connectivity between the airport and the city, and deep-sea port developments in Phuket and the southern region. These initiatives aim to establish Phuket as a sustainable Global Luxury Hub for the future.

Mr. Manatase Annawat, President of Thailand Privilege Card, said: “Currently, Phuket is not just a world-class vacation destination; it has ascended to become a Maritime Hub and a Strategic Luxury Hub with a significant role in the region. Participating in the ‘Thailand International Boat Show 2026’ presents an excellent opportunity to communicate, promote, and expand our target customer base among Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs), businesspeople, investors, as well as superyacht owners and maritime lifestyle enthusiasts. These are high-quality tourists with significant purchasing power. Our primary key message is to reach customers seeking a second home in a world-class seaside city, as well as those wishing to reside in Thailand long-term. Phuket possesses high potential in every aspect, especially its ‘Sea Sand Sun’ charm, which attracts a vast number of foreigners each year.

Participation on this international platform reflects the strong potential of Phuket and Thailand to sustainably support luxury tourism supply in the long run, while strengthening confidence and attracting high-quality foreign residents to live and spend extended periods in Thailand.”

“Phuket stands out by its diversity, meeting every need from eco-tourism and the “Local Experience” that creates a meaningful journey through local identity, from Old Town architecture to strong community lifestyles, to luxury tourism featuring leading shopping malls, international Wellness Centers, luxury yachting, and water activities supported by ports across the island. This reflects a perfect blend of culture, nature, and modernity; Phuket stands out for its diversity across all dimensions, Mr. Manatase added.
