Sartoria by Paulo Airaudo, the stylish and sophisticated Italian dining destination located on the 56th floor of EA Rooftop at The Empire, invites discerning guests to experience an evening of epicurean artistry, as two of Bangkok’s most acclaimed restaurants unite for “Elements at Sartoria” – a one-of-a-kind four-hands collaboration dinner.
Elements, Inspired by Ciel Bleu, the Michelin-starred contemporary restaurant at The Okura Prestige Bangkok, is famed for its inimitable blend of refined French cuisine and Japanese precision. For one night only, this distinguished dining venue’s Chef de Cuisine, Gerard Villaret Horcajo, will come together with Aleš Donát Forbord, Executive Chef of Sartoria by Paulo Airaudo, for a celebration of exceptional gastronomy, as they craft a carefully balanced tasting menu featuring eight courses – four from each restaurant – designed to reflect both individuality and harmony.
Originally hailing from Spain, Chef Gerard honed his skills at iconic European Michelin restaurants, such as Vendome in Germany, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in the UK, and Azurmendi in Spain. At Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu, he presents bold yet sophisticated dishes that highlight elegance, seasonality, and meticulous technique.
Chef Aleš has perfected the art of fine dining at high-end hotels and restaurants since 2012. Having showcased his talent in some of Europe’s most celebrated culinary venues, he moved to Singapore and led the only Irish restaurant outside of the British Isles to be awarded a Michelin star. At Sartoria, he brings warmth, depth, and bold character to time-honored Italian recipes.
As “Elements at Sartoria” unfolds, guests will discover a seamless dialogue between the two kitchens, as alternating courses demonstrate the unique styles of each chef, contrasts become complements, and creativity takes center stage. Each plate will tell its own story, yet together they will form a single narrative of collaboration, innovation, and shared passion. Woven throughout this culinary tapestry, the highest grade Oscietra caviar from Kaviari will add a touch of extra indulgence and luxury to every dish.
