Michael Hogan’s journey began in his native Australia, where a love for hospitality and food came alive at a young age. This passion became the foundation of a career that has spanned over 25 years and continues to be guided by creativity, dedication, and genuine care for people.

In 1998, Hogan stepped into the professional culinary world, where his talent and commitment quickly stood out. Within a decade, he rose to Executive Chef at the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel, inspiring his team and creating memorable dining experiences for guests from around the world. His reputation grew as he took on Executive Chef roles at several other leading Marriott International hotels, always bringing his unique blend of innovation and heartfelt leadership.

In 2021, Hogan transitioned into a broader leadership role as Director of Food & Beverage at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park. Under his guidance, the hotel’s restaurants received both critical acclaim and numerous awards—recognition of his ability to combine creativity with operational excellence while never losing sight of the human touch. Two years later, he was promoted to Hotel Manager, before taking on his current role as General Manager of Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa in 2024.
