Le Méridien Bangkok is proud to announce the winning artist of Rooftop Street Art Fight, a rooftop art competition that brings street culture into vibrant dialogue with the city skyline.

The prize was awarded to Miss Jiaqi (Angela) Hu, Miss Jiayi (Helen) Zhang, Miss Kanyapra (Rose) Nuphet, Miss Qianqian (Dahlia) Li, Miss Yiran (Angela) Zheng, Mr. Sahahpanh Prapaipanich (Mentor) from Satit International Bilingual School of Rangsit University Chiangmai (SIBS), created under the concept of a maiden with animals symbolizes youth and hope for a sustainable future. She represents the next generation protecting biodiversity and living in harmony with nature. Interpreting the theme Colour and sustainability, the winning work harnesses colour as a visual language to reflect life, balance and resilience, while drawing attention to the social and environmental challenges shaping today’s urban landscape.

“Rooftop Street Art Fight embodies everything we believe art can be: bold, inclusive and deeply connected to the world around us. We are honoured to have provided this platform for such extraordinary young talent, and we hope this initiative inspires not only our guests but our entire community. Giving back is at the heart of what we do, and we are proud that the proceeds from this event will support the Thai Red Cross Society in its vital work,” said Dieter Ruckenbauer, General Manager at Le Méridien Bangkok.

Hosted on the hotel’s rooftop, Rooftop Street Art Fight transformed an architectural space into an open-air canvas, positioning street art as an accessible and powerful form of contemporary expression, which calls on the creative community to respond to global challenges through design-led thinking and action.

The award ceremony and celebratory dinner took place on 28 March 2026, with artists, partners and invited guests gathering on the rooftop amid the completed artworks. In keeping with the spirit of street culture, the evening featured street food–style dining, reinforcing the project’s emphasis on openness, inclusivity and shared experience.

The proceeds from the Rooftop Street Art Fight event, after expenses are deducted, will be donated to the Thai Red Cross Society through the Donation HUB, a center that collects donations and organizes fundraising activities to support all missions of the Thai Red Cross Society. The funds will be passed on as assistance to underprivileged patients and disadvantaged individuals. This initiative reinforces Le Méridien Bangkok’s commitment to giving back to society and the community.

The project was supported by key sponsors including Sherwin-Williams, Bangkok Vodka, Phraya Rum, Beer Chang, EST, and Italasia, reflecting a shared commitment to creativity, sustainability and community engagement. Additional partners will be announced in due course.

As part of Asset World Corporation (AWC) Hotels & Resorts, Le Méridien Bangkok hosts The GALLERY, a social enterprise marketplace located on the hotel’s lobby floor. More than a curated marketplace, The GALLERY connects local artisans and designers with a broader audience, showcasing meaningful products that celebrate local craftsmanship and cultural heritage. All proceeds from The GALLERY support talented artists, craftspeople, and community enterprises across Thailand, helping preserve indigenous skills and empower over 302 local communities surrounding AWC properties.
