Laguna Phuket Partners with The Kanchanabaramee Foundation to Host the “Charity Run 6K” Under the 32nd Laguna Phuket Triathlon, Aiming to Raise Funds to Fight Breast Cancer
“Laguna Phuket,” a fully integrated leisure and lifestyle destination on Phuket Island, has partnered with the Kanchanabaramee Foundation (มูลนิธิกาญจนบารมี), a charitable organization assisting underprivileged cancer patients, to organize the “Laguna Phuket Charity Fun Run 6K” under the 32nd Laguna Phuket Triathlon 2026. This charity run event will bring everyone together to enjoy time with family, friends, and tourists while experiencing the beauty of Laguna along the 6-kilometer route. It offers an opportunity for runners and health enthusiasts of all levels to be a part of passing on the power of giving to society on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Laguna Grove, Phuket.
The Laguna Phuket Charity Fun Run 6K is organized to provide assistance and support for the operations of the Kanchanabaramee Foundation, an initiative honoring the King, which focuses on the crucial mission of elevating and promoting access to prevention, screening, and early detection services for cancer among people across Thailand. This is achieved through the operation of mobile cancer screening units and proactive outreach programs, which are vital gears in bringing these essential health services to the community level, particularly ensuring that women residing in rural and remote areas receive timely care.
The main goal of this walk-run event is not only to invite runners, health enthusiasts, and families to join in the fun, but also to campaign and raise awareness among the public regarding the importance of early cancer screening. Furthermore, it provides an opportunity for participants to take part in supporting the foundation’s work. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the 400 THB registration fee per person will be donated to the Kanchanabaramee Foundation without any deductions, enabling the foundation to continue driving its screening programs and assisting cancer patients.
In addition, the Kanchanabaramee Foundation will bring a mobile breast cancer screening unit to provide services at the Laguna Phuket event area on the day of the competition. It will offer free breast cancer screening services for eligible women. Inside the mobile screening unit, there will be fully equipped, modern medical tools and equipment, along with close care from a team of expert doctors, nurses, and medical personnel.
Laguna Phuket prioritizes transparency and clear communication regarding the charitable organizations that benefit from its various activities. The 32nd Laguna Phuket Triathlon will continue its commitment to continuously supporting the Laguna Phuket Children First Fund (CFF) through regularly established fundraising activities.
