KTC and Weddinglist Build Integrated Ecosystem to Position Thailand as a Global Wedding Destination

Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC) has entered into a strategic partnership with Weddinglist.co.th, alongside key public and private sector stakeholders, to strengthen Thailand’s wedding industry and position the country as a global wedding destination.

The collaboration will culminate in ‘Thailand Weddinglist 2026,’ a national wedding exhibition to be held on January 24–25, 2026, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.  The event, organized under the theme ‘Canvas of Love & Wedding Destination,’ is supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and the Thai Hotels Association.

The initiative aims to develop a comprehensive ‘Wedding Ecosystem,’ bringing together planning services, hospitality partners, and financial solutions, while offering exclusive privileges valued at more than THB 2 million to couples attending the event.

Strategic Integration Across the Wedding Journey

Ms. Varitta Phatanarajta, Head of Credit Card Marketing Division at KTC, said the collaboration aligns with the company’s 2026 strategy, which prioritizes high-value partnerships that create integrated solutions across consumer lifestyle segments.

The wedding industry represents a convergence of lifestyle spending, experiential tourism, and long-term financial engagement.  Our collaboration with Weddinglist allows KTC to support couples across the entire wedding journey from planning and vendor selection to seamless payment solutions while reinforcing Thailand’s competitiveness as a destination for both local and international weddings.

She added that the initiative reflects KTC’s broader focus on ecosystem-based growth, where financial services are embedded naturally into consumer experiences rather than functioning as standalone transactions.

Market Expansion and Structural Growth Drivers

Mr. Vorasit Termchitaree, Chief Executive Officer of Weddinglist.co.th, projected that Thailand’s wedding industry could reach a market value of THB 50–60 billion by 2027, driven by the continued expansion of destination weddings and the recent enactment of the Marriage Equality Act.

The new legal framework serves as a powerful catalyst for international demand.  Thailand already has a strong foundation in luxury hospitality, professional service standards, and cultural diversity.  This development significantly broadens the market, positioning Thailand as an inclusive and globally competitive wedding hub.

Thailand Weddinglist 2026 is expected to feature more than 200 premium exhibitors, with projected attendance exceeding 5,000 couples.

End-to-End Financial Solutions for KTC Cardmembers

As part of the collaboration, KTC will introduce an industry-first End-to-End Wedding & Financial Solution, designed to enhance liquidity management and provide tangible financial value throughout the wedding planning process.

KTC cardmembers who make purchases at the event (Booths 92–93) will be eligible for:

  • Tiered spending rewards: A THB 500 Central Gift Voucher for every THB 50,000 in accumulated spending, capped at THB 2,000 per card per day.
  • Top spender privileges: The four highest-spending cardmembers, with a minimum spend of THB 400,000, will receive luxury rewards valued at over THB 100,000, including stays at Sindhorn Kempinski Bangkok and VIE Hotel Bangkok, as well as international flight vouchers.

Thailand Weddinglist 2026 will be held on January 24–25, 2026, at Hall 7, LG Suite, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

Remark: It is advisable for credit cardholders to use their cards responsibly and repay the full amount as scheduled to avoid incurring an annual interest rate of 16%.
