Celebrating 12 Years of Family, Community, and Heart at Grand Mercure Phuket Patong
Grand Mercure Phuket Patong family is filled with joy as we celebrate 12 wonderful years of welcoming guests to our home in Patong. Since 2014, we have been honored to share the beauty of Thai hospitality with travelers from all over the world.
To start this special day, we held a warm and traditional merit-making ceremony. Nine monks were invited to offer a blessing for the hotel and our dedicated staff, bringing peace and good fortune for the years ahead. This morning was a beautiful reminder of the strong bond between our team and the community, and the wonderful guests who have become part of our family.
Reflecting on the journey, the General Manager of Grand Mercure Phuket Patong shared a moving message with the team and guests:
What a journey it has been, 12 years and counting… I remember the first day we opened, the very first guest, Mrs Gladys from Australia. It is not just a team or just another Resort we work at, another Resort guests stay at, it is a family and House we built, we cared for and cherish. Seeing so many guests returning years after years, so many of our team members celebrating 10,11,12 years with us… This feeling is unique and we are all so proud today of what has been accomplished over the years… What a journey indeed!
