Celebrate Earth Hour with an Evocative Evening of Sustainability at the Award-Winning Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort
Guests invited to enjoy sunset drinks, acoustic music and uplifting activities by the beach, as the resort celebrates winning two environmental honors at the International Hotel Awards 2025-26
Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort, which overlooks the golden beach and turquoise sea in the beating heart of Patong, will reaffirm is deep commitment to sustainability this month, as it marks Earth Hour 2026 with an evocative and uplifting evening of environmental awareness overlooking the Andaman Sea at The Deck Beach Club Patong.
Staged annually on March 28, Earth Hour is an impactful event that sees millions of homes and businesses around the world switch off their lights for one hour to shine a spotlight on critical issues such as nature loss and climate change. This year, couples, families and friends can gather together and mark this global initiative with an evocative social experience by the beach, illuminated by the setting sun and soothing moonlight.
The Earth Hour activities commence at 4pm, as a live DJ gets the party started at The Deck. Revelers can sip Happy Hour sundowners with a “buy one get one free” offer from 5.30pm-7.30pm, and savor sizzling grilled skewers from a live BBQ. All ages can enjoy a glow-up with neon body painting from 5.30pm onwards, and live acoustic music from 7pm. Finally, as The Deck – and the world – is plunged into darkness during Earth Hour (8.30pm-9.30pm), couples and families will be treated to a spectacular LED fire show.
All in-house guests will be encouraged to turn off their room lighting as they join the activities, connect with fellow travelers, and reflect on their own relationship with the Earth.
Earth Hour reflects Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort’s sustainable philosophy, which flows through every aspect of its operations, from waste and water conservation to community engagement. Recognizing these efforts, the resort has been honored with two prestigious titles at the International Hotel Awards 2025-2026: “Best Sustainable Hotel – Asia Pacific” and “Best International Sustainable Hotel.”
“At Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort, we understand that we do not operate alone – we are part of a global community with a shared responsibility for protecting the planet. Earth Hour reminds us of this, and we are delighted to invite our guests to join us for an evening of music, entertainment and environmental awareness at The Deck. We are also honored to have won these two prestigious International Hotel Awards. Earth Hour is only once a year, but we work tirelessly every day to create a bright future for Phuket – and the world,” said Daryn Hudson, the resort’s General Manager.
