Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel Brings Asia’s Cocktail Scene to Bangkok at the World Gourmet Festival 2026

Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel is pleased to announce the return of the annual international culinary showcase, the “World Gourmet Festival 2026,” taking place from September 29 to October 4, 2026. Under the theme “The World of Flavours,” the festival presents food and beverage experiences curated by leading chefs and experts from around the globe.

A key highlight not to be missed this year is the Bar Collaboration, which will take cocktail enthusiasts on a journey through the world of mixology. Mixologists from bars featured in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 will gather to create exclusive signature drinks at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel throughout the festival’s six days.

Over the six days of the World Gourmet Festival 2026, the world of mixology will invite guests to travel through stories, flavors, and cultures from various cities across Asia. Bartenders from top venues in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 will showcase their identity through signature cocktails and drinking experiences designed specifically for this festival:

September 29: “The Rhythm of Taipei”

Kick off the journey with the vibrant beats of Taipei, featuring Bar Mood (No. 82, Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026) represented by Nick Wu and Kevin. They will bring the atmosphere of Taipei’s bar scene through lively, contemporary cocktails, adding energy and charm to the opening night of the festival.

September 30: “A Night of Bar Legends”

Experience a night bringing together three prominent Bangkok establishments on one stage: Dry Wave Studio (No. 4), BKK Social Club (No. 20), and G.O.D (No. 31). This event presents three distinct perspectives of Bangkok’s cocktail culture—from the precision and creativity of Dry Wave Studio, to the Latin American charm of BKK Social Club, and the unconventional drinking philosophy of G.O.D.—reflecting the diversity and creative energy of Bangkok as a major hub in Asia’s cocktail landscape.

October 1: “Mius Night Out”

Journey onward to Hong Kong with Mius (No. 36), featuring Shelley Tai and Kit. Guided by their philosophy of “Simple things, done well,” they emphasize detail, balance, and precision in every glass, showcasing the understated yet refined charm of Hong Kong’s contemporary drinking culture.

October 2: “The Perfect Problem”

Immerse yourself in an evening where memories and emotions are reinterpreted through cocktails with Problem Child (No. 44) from Makati, Philippines. Led by Kevin Corales and Patrick Leyble, guests will experience a fun, experimental bar concept that steps outside traditional boundaries through beverages inspired by personal stories, memories, and experiences.

October 3: “Zest and Chill”

Highlighting one of the festival’s most anticipated evenings, Zest (No. 2) from Seoul, represented by Noah Kwon and Jisu Park, brings its concept of “Sustainable Fine Drinking” to mixology. From sourcing local ingredients and crafting homemade sodas and tonics to implementing a Zero Waste philosophy that reuses components to maximize value, this night offers a fresh perspective on drinking that balances flavor, creativity, and environmental mindfulness.

October 4: “The Soul of Little India”

Conclude the journey with storytelling from The Elephant Room (No. 58) in Singapore, led by Yugnes “Yugi” Susela. The culture of Little India is brought to life through aromatic spices, ingredients sourced from Tekka Market, and community narratives, all blended with modern cocktail creativity. This final chapter demonstrates how much history, people, and culture can be captured within a single glass.

In addition to the Bar Collaboration, the World Gourmet Festival 2026 features dinner programs by world-class chefs, one-night-only chef pairings, and specially designed dining experiences across all six days to celebrate the diversity, creativity, and craftsmanship of the global food and beverage industry under “The World of Flavours” theme.
