Shanghai, China 28 April, 2018 The Sukhothai Shanghai, a contemporary lifestyle hotel, opens today, heralding an exciting new chapter for The Sukhothai Hotels & Resorts of HKR International Limited (“HKRI”) and its strategic development in Mainland China. The opening ceremony was officiated by Victor Cha, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of HKRI, Ivan Lee, Executive Vice President of Operations of HKRI, and Marcel N.A. Holman, General Manager of The Sukhothai Shanghai in the presence of over 100 guests, media and hotel associates.

Mr Cha then handed over a key to the hotel general manager, Marcel N.A. Holman, who leads a team of over 200 hotel associates in the operation of The Sukhothai Shanghai.

Over 100 guests grace the special occasion with their presence, who are among the firsts to visit URBAN Café and preview the hotel.
